Voyage to Excellence
The Prince Rupert Port Authority is committed to empowering youth as they pursue excellence in sports, education, arts, and culture.
The Voyage to Excellence program celebrates and supports outstanding youth teams and groups who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and achievement in their field.
This program is open to teams and groups that have placed among the highest in their category and qualified through a competition for advancement to a provincial or national championship.
This program supports costs associated with travel, up to $1500 maximum, per event, per calendar year.
Voyage to Excellence Criteria:
-Youth groups aged 5-18 years, participating in a recognized field of sport, education, health, wellness, culture or performing arts program
-The majority of the program’s participants are living in Prince Rupert or surrounding Indigenous communities
-Groups must have qualified through participation to compete in a provincial or national championship
