#TBT The Trinity Men`s Recovery House serves the community of Prince Rupert and surrounding areas.
Back in 2020, the @rupertport partnered up with the @333recoveryhomessociety and other community partners to invest in upgrading the Recovery House, enabling improved support for new clients and their personal recovery plans. New additions to the existing building included an enhanced reception office, personal lockers, and new outdoor storage. September is Recovery Month in Canada.

#TBT The musical talent in Prince Rupert is as strong as ever, and the Peter Witherly Community Music Studio at Charles Hays Secondary School is a major component for developing young musicians, but also maintaining it at the community level.
Back in 2013, the @rupertport`s Community Investment Fund contributed to the initial construction of this building that now is an integral part of both CHSS but also the community.

#TBT One of the earliest @rupertport`s Community Investment Fund projects was the Port Edward playground, including the ballfield and skate park.
The entire area was renovated and included a complete overhaul of the drainage system, making the park more accessible and safe.

Don`t be alarmed! Upcoming Emergency Preparedness Exercise at Fairview Terminal
DP World Prince Rupert will conduct a planned emergency evacuation exercise once between August 19 and 23. Testing will include sounding the terminal`s Emergency Audible Alarm for approximately 20-30 minutes.
This exercise is part of DP World`s ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of their employees, the community, and their contractors.

This meshed perfectly with Metlakatla`s Healthy Lifestyles Initiative which opened up the opportunity for the community to participate in sports leagues and tournaments with other Northwest communities.

@rupertport has partnered with @harbourtheatre for many projects over the years, most recently in 2023 with upgrades to the stage lighting. The Playhouse is now more energy efficient and contributes to a safer environment inside the theatre.

#TBT Exploring the great outdoors is one of the many perks of living in northwestern B.C., including cycling. In 2021, the Terrace Off Road Cycling Association (TORCA) was able to open a brand new cycling pump track, connecting it with the "HuB", a 2.5 km route of new and rehabilitated bike trails, developed for all ages and abilities.
The pump track was brought to life thanks to a partnership with the @rupertport Community Investment Fund, which helped cover the costs of the track`s durable surface, well-suited for the variable weather conditions of the North Coast.
