Le nouveau centre de commandement mobile de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 but non lucratif a \u00e9t\u00e9 rendu possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une contribution de 125 300 dollars du fonds d&rsquo;investissement communautaire de l&rsquo;autorit\u00e9 portuaire de Prince Rupert (APPR).<\/p>\n\n<p>Inspir\u00e9 de mod\u00e8les \u00e9prouv\u00e9s utilis\u00e9s par d&rsquo;autres \u00e9quipes de recherche et de sauvetage dans le nord-ouest de la Colombie-Britannique, le nouveau centre de commandement mobile renforce la capacit\u00e9 de PRGSAR \u00e0 fournir un soutien essentiel en cas d&rsquo;urgence. Il est \u00e9quip\u00e9 des dispositifs de communication n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la coordination d&rsquo;une op\u00e9ration de recherche et de sauvetage, ce qui permet \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de rester en contact avec d&rsquo;autres organisations et de r\u00e9agir plus rapidement aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements. L&rsquo;\u00e9quipement et les fournitures utilis\u00e9s dans les missions de recherche et de sauvetage peuvent d\u00e9sormais \u00eatre stock\u00e9s dans le v\u00e9hicule, pr\u00eats \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s \u00e0 tout moment.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Notre organisation s&rsquo;est engag\u00e9e \u00e0 investir dans des ressources qui soutiennent \u00e0 la fois la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 publique dans le nord-ouest de la Colombie-Britannique. En \u00e9quipant les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles du Prince Rupert Ground Search and Rescue de la technologie et des outils n\u00e9cessaires pour mieux coordonner leurs op\u00e9rations, nous am\u00e9liorerons les interventions d&rsquo;urgence pour l&rsquo;ensemble de notre r\u00e9gion\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Shaun Stevenson, pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l&rsquo;autorit\u00e9 portuaire de Prince Rupert.<\/p>\n\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de b\u00e9n\u00e9voles d\u00e9vou\u00e9s de PRGSAR offre une gamme de services de recherche et de sauvetage, ainsi que des possibilit\u00e9s de formation et d&rsquo;\u00e9ducation au public. Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 2013, PRGSAR est devenu une partie int\u00e9grante du syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;intervention d&rsquo;urgence dans la r\u00e9gion, \u00e9tablissant des partenariats avec de nombreuses organisations, notamment Emergency Management of BC, BC Emergency Health Services, BC RCMP, Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue et Prince Rupert Fire Rescue, afin de soutenir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 publique et la formation lorsqu&rsquo;elles sont sollicit\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La nouvelle unit\u00e9 de commandement mobile est le principal atout de Prince Rupert Ground Search and Rescue et aura un impact durable sur les ressources d&rsquo;intervention d&rsquo;urgence dans le nord-ouest de la Colombie-Britannique, en fournissant \u00e0 nos b\u00e9n\u00e9voles l&rsquo;\u00e9quipement n\u00e9cessaire pour intervenir et se mobiliser plus rapidement \u00ab\u00a0, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jordy Bouillet, gestionnaire de la recherche et du sauvetage, PRGSAR. \u00ab\u00a0Nous remercions l&rsquo;autorit\u00e9 portuaire de Prince Rupert d&rsquo;avoir investi dans ce projet et d&rsquo;avoir d\u00e9montr\u00e9 son engagement permanent en faveur de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 au sein et autour de notre communaut\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n<p>Le fonds d&rsquo;investissement communautaire de l&rsquo;APPR a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important dans l&rsquo;expansion des capacit\u00e9s de recherche et de sauvetage dans le nord-ouest de la Colombie-Britannique au cours de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie.
