Export Development

The Prince Rupert Port Authority’s Export Development Fund (EDF) supports the planning, development, and implementation of economic development opportunities along the Highway 16 corridor. The EDF aims to assist eligible organizations with research and feasibility studies essential to identifying and assessing new intermodal export opportunities that would potentially flow through the Port of Prince Rupert. The funding will serve to support work being advanced by economic development-related organizations that are assessing market demand, industry supply, and the cost, efficiency, and reliability of trade and transportation links that would bring them to market.
